In the 14th edition of Morialta Matters there are details of the Liberal Plan to back business and get the SA economy moving again, a list of the Morialta Citizenship Award winners, and details of the Eastern Adelaide Domestic Violence Service fundraiser, as well as a number of local success stories.
In the thirteenth issue of Morialta Matters the opening of SA's Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is discussed along with local developments regarding the Paradise Interchange. There were also a number of invitations to local events and fundraisers.
Issue 12 of Morialta Matters focusses primarily on State-wide issues by providing details on Labor's high debt and higher deficit State Budget and what it will mean for you and your family, along with the establishment of a Parliamentary Inquiry into alcohol laws designed to protect children and the passage of one of my bills. I have also included details of Steven Marshall's commitment to retain paediatric services at the Modbury Hospital if the Liberal Party is elected to Government in March 2014.
In issue eleven of Morialta Matters, I thank the Country Fire Service (and other) volunteers who gave up their time in the Cherryville fires. I also congratulate some local young achievers and highlight some great locally owned businesses.
2012 marks the 20th anniversary of International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being.

The Black Hill Challenge is a 15 kilometre run from Foxfield Oval, Maryvale Road, Athelstone into Black Hill Conservation Park and returning to Foxfield Oval.
The ninth issue of Morialta Matters discusses the mothballing of Adelaide's desalination plant, the changes to the Morialta electorate in the electoral redistribution and also some local community events.
